Francis Cang is a solo guitarist/session player based in Cagayan de Oro City.

Although primarily a blues/fusion player in the bands he sessions in, he creates music that leans toward progressive fusion
as part of his solo repertoire.

He currently does guitar duties for local acts Ikabaud Kraine and Sulo in and out of the studio.

"I've been playing strats and SGs for most of my life so I've always been iffy about trying out modern instruments - especially those multi-scale, ergonomic types.

But in my opinion, GOC got the headless strat design right in their Ren model. Apart from having top-tier playability, its tones were next level stuff. A true fusion of vintage-modern elements."
